For my house style i wanted to use the colours, fonts and logos to get across the magazines ethos so i experimented with different sets of colours and different fonts and also change my logo a little.

I took my two favourite colour schemes and added them both to the logo i had designed and finally i decided to go with the red and black house style as it really fits with my magazines philosophy.

06 Stereotyping

Stereotypes in society are seen as a bad thing however they aren't ment to be, they are not individual person but a group of people who you can catergorise as similar to help you read them and group people into target markets. stereotypes are a type of 'visual shortcut' and stereotypes are quite acceptable aslong as they don't misrepresent a group of people.

people from the south of the country may have a stereotype that all people from the north east are like ant and dec it may not be widely true but gives them something to go on if they met someone from the north east.
